EuroAtlantic Airways, M&B Conversions and Bedek Aviation Group celebrate the first Cargo Door Cut out for 767-300BDSF
Ben Gurion International Airport, Israel – EuroAtlantic Airways (Portugal), M&B Conversions (Ireland) and Bedek Aviation Group of Israel Aerospace Industries celebrate the Cut Out of first Side Cargo Door in the 767-300BDSF program. In a ceremony in Bedek Premises the Side Cargo Door opening was cut out setting a milestone in the program’s Launching Aircraft that targets Supplemental Type Certificate achievement in the third quarter of 2009.
This is euroAtlantic first Freighter adding a new dimension to its fleet. This is M&B Conversion’s launching customer for its 767-300 passenger to cargo configuration conversion. Bedek is M&B Conversions Subcontractor for development and performance of the conversions.
For Bedek this is the new product in a line of passenger to cargo conversions product that includes the 737-300, 737-400, 767-200 and the 747-400.
Euclides Batalha, of euroAtlantic has expressed his confidence in the product coming out of Bedek and sees this airplane as mean to extend euroAtlantic services into the air cargo market.
Joseph Reinherz of M&B Conversions expressed gratitude to euroAtlantic decision for choosing this program and becoming its launch customer indicating that there are some more customers in contact for M&B Conversion’s program.
